Mr Pascal G. Dozie

Mr. Pascal G. Dozie is a seasoned economist, econometrician, consultant and banker. He was at a time, a Director of the Central Bank of Nigeria and President of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. He served at the Exchange as a Council Member until September 2006.
Currently, Mr. Dozie is the Chairman of Kunoch Limited, MTN Nigeria and New Nigeria Foundation. He is also, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of African Development Foundation that founded the Pan-Atlantic University and he serves as the Pro Chancellor and member of the Governing Council of that university.
He is a founding member of the Advisory Board of the Lagos Business School and served as the Founding Chairman of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group. He served as the Chairman of the Business Support Group that oversaw the successful meeting of the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting in Nigeria in 2003. Mr. Dozie was the Co-Chairman of the Nigeria Business Coalition Against HIV/AIDS till 2016. He is the founder and the first Chairman/CEO of Diamond Bank Plc and on the international scene, Mr. Dozie was, between 2009 and 2011, the cochair of the Commonwealth Business Council.
In recognition of his contributions to the development of the Nigerian economy, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria respectively, honored Mr. Dozie in 2000 and 2012 with the national awards of the Order of the Niger (OON) and Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON).
Mr. Dozie combines extensive money and capital market experience with an in-depth knowledge of the telecommunications industry. An accomplished intellectual who has to his credit several published works.
